If you are a project delivery practitioner or are someone that hires consultants to deliver projects you will have heard the question “How did you get into Project Management?” There are generally two replies ” By accident or I chose the career”. We are happy to say that we chose this career path. In the beginning when project delivery frameworks were not the norm we were eager practitioners.
It was thanks to our customers and mentors who gave us a platform from which to gain valuable insights into different industries and challenges.
They trusted us with managing the outcome to their problems. Suffice to say these problems normally kept them up at night.
We recognised that a number of companies did not have a standard approach to setting up, managing and delivering projects. Furthermore the vast majority did not have any governance frameworks, which left them at risk for continuing failures of major business and IT projects to deliver expected value. We have learnt to listen and respect the way our clients run their business and know we all have hurdles to get through. This is why our team of consultants are valued as they provide satisfying solutions to business problems.
